WHITE MOUNTAINS MOTOR SPORTS PARK

In the morning of June 20th it was off to White Mountains Motor Sports Park , North Woodstock , NH .  Waiting for them was warm ups from 12:00 noon till 3:00 p.m. The evening brought the STAR cars a heat race with David Viera from Ma in his #19 Ford Pinto holding off the pack for the heat win.  Later in the evening STAR hit the track for their feature race.  In the Sportsmen division Wade Worster from Me in his #32 a 1933 Chevy Coupe took the sportsmen feature for the evening.  Skip Stearns from NH in his #7X  Chevy coupe captured a second followed by Rick MacDowell from Ma in his #76 Ford Pinto to finish off third place.  In the Modified division Bill Cummins from Ma in his Ford Pinto #195 showed the Modifieds just how it should be done.  The checkered flag dropped down on Cummins to take the modified win.  Danny Ferland in his #21 Ford Pinto and Charlie Lima in his #10 Pinto trailed Cummins.  To take a very close second was Ferland with Lima to top of the field with a very close third.  Cummins and Worster made a Victory lap around White Mountains Motor Sports Park side by side, modified and sportsmen together.  After the victory lap Cummins and Worster were interviewed and presented with first place trophies.   Thanks goes out to White Mountains Motor Sports Park for a great night.  It was a great weekend and some great racing for the STAR cars!!!!
