Its was 2 shows in one: Frank Maratta's Auto Show and Race-A-Rama all under one roof at the Big E in West Springfield, Ma on March 2nd and 3rd! Featuring custom cars, hot rods, hot imports, hot trucks, dream cars and Race-A-Rama highlighing the 2013 East Coast racing season, drag cars, stock cars, road cars, and midgets. |

In conjunction with Frank Maratta’s “The Show of Dreams” auto show, a 54-year-old tradition, Race-A-Rama returned once again. This was a true exposition of everything on wheels and came to life at the Eastern States Exposition Better Living Center, on March 2nd and 3rd, 2013. |

The “Show of Dreams” features custom cars, hot rods, exotic imports and muscle cars, plus much more. The Race-A-Rama portion of the exposition showcased Tracks of the Northeast, Divisional Championship Race Cars, Touring Divisions and vendors offering racing related products, services and souvenirs. The Show came at a time when fans have reached their winter withdrawal from auto racing. Several New England oval tracks and Tours were part of the Race-A-Rama portion of the show. |

Tour Auto Racers was on displayed to give the fans a taste of Vintage
Racing! It was great to see
so many fans stop by to ask questions, about the club and cars on
display. Many memberships,
and schedules were passed out. Star would like to thank the following
members for their support on displaying their cars.
Rick MacDowell from Ma displayed his beautiful sleek black 1968
Chevy Camaro #76. Rich
Mosher from Ct displayed his flawless 1937 Chevy Coupe #17.
Ed Mulligan from RI displayed his #61 Richie Evans tribute car.
The fans were treated to autographed photos and the children were
amazed as the Star members let them sit in the racecars for photos.
A very special thank you to all the members who supported by
coming to set up the display and staying all weekend to help support the
club and those who came to disassemble the display.
Also thank you to the car owners for bringing their cars for our
display. |
